Alli has long thick natural kinky curly hair. She was noncommittal regarding her wedding hairstyle always feeling limits on how her hair could be styled due to her hair type. Darryl asked Alli if she ever styled her hair straight. To Darryl’s surprise, Alli had never worn her hair straight because it never seemed to be a possibility. Long thick kinky curly hair?
No problem.
First we did a full highlight service to enhance her golden blonde hair, and a haircut two weeks prior to wedding day. The day before the wedding, Alli’s hair was washed, and conditioned. Next Kera Care Silken Seal Oil and Paul Mitchell Flexible Style Sculpting Foam was applied to the wet hair to smooth out the hair, achieve a silkier texture, and control frizz.
Alli was styled with a half up half down glamorously elegant updo with long soft cascading curls. The hair was blown out straight, flat ironed and curled using Paul Mitchell Worked Up Spray, and finished with the Paul Mitchell Stay Strong Hold Spray to hold up through the windy elements of her fall wedding day.
After two ceremonies, and the reception celebration, this bride looked just as stunning at the end of the night as she did for the First Look.
